Vitamin D deficiency linked to problems in pregnancy

Calgary family physician Dr. Fariba Aghajafari was part of a U of C study that found a close link between low vitamin D levels in expectant mothers and gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, low birth weight and other pregnancy concerns.
